Timefoldables project is part of my never-ending research with rubber stamps, materials, and inks. In this case, I've used a combination of water-based, acrylic, and china inks. Some of those have durable characteristics, whereas others, such as the water-based ones, will fade away over time. This combination reflects my idea of mutability.
I believe that everything is in a constant state of change, and that nothing is permanent or fixed. This concept of mutability is something that I try to capture in my art. By using different types of ink that have varying levels of permanence, I attempt to convey the idea that all things in life are subject to change over time.
In a way, my art is a reflection of my own experience. Just as the ink I use will eventually fade away, everything in life is temporary and subject to change. My hope is that my art can inspire others to reflect on the impermanence of things and appreciate the beauty that can be found in the fleeting moments of life.
